In this free presentation, Amy Yocum and Kristin Slava discuss common practices for fall clean up and how these practices can do more harm than good. Their goal is to provide a view of the garden as a thriving ecosystem through winter, and explore not only what the denizens of the winter garden are up to, but how we can support our ecosystems by shifting the notion of tidying up a fall garden to supporting the plants, insects, and animals through the winter months.
Please come with questions and observations of your own gardens; we encourage audience participation!
Sustainable Stoughton will be providing coffee, tea, and some treats at this event. We always have a few goodies to raffle off as well!
