Sustainable Stoughton has collaborated with Stoughton Public Library and Dane County Parks to create a free seed library for our community.
Our seed library is located on the 2nd floor of Stoughton Public Library in the movies section.
The seed library will offer a variety of native plant seeds and garden vegetable seeds in Spring and native seeds for fall germination beginning in late August. Packets will be available for anyone to take from the seed library. You do not "check out" seeds nor are expected to bring any seeds back to the library. The seeds are simply available for anyone to plant in their gardens.
If you stop by our seed library, please take a moment to let us know what seeds you take. We appreciate that you only take one packet of each to ensure that many will be able to enjoy these free seeds.
NATIVE SEEDS LOVE COLD WEATHER! SEEDS CAN BE SOWN LATE INTO THE FALL!
FALL NATIVE SEEDS WILL BE AVAILABLE UNTIL THEY RUN OUT OR NOVEMBER 30TH.
