Ink Cap Books, 220 W. Main Street, Stoughton
Join us to discuss this bestselling collection of essays by Robin Wall Kimmerer, a member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation and renowned botanist with connections to Wisconsin and UW-Madison.
Our book discussions are FREE, relaxed, low-key, and conversational, but also focused and on-topic. Ink Cap Books has a warm and cozy vibe. To sweeten the deal, we’ll be providing delicious tea and chocolate from Yahara Chocolate & Tea. We’ll meet twice to allow more time to read and have more in depth discussions.
We have 2 nights so we can break the book up in half. Febr
Feel free to join one or both discussions but give us a heads up if you’ll be coming so we can have enough treats to share!
Sustainable Stoughton has bee collaborating with Stoughton Public Library and Dane County Parks to create a seed library for our community.
Beginning February 3rd, a seed library will be available at Stoughton Public Library on the 2nd floor in the films/movies section.
The seed library will contain 12 different kinds of seeds-a variety of native flower seeds and vegetable seeds. Packets will be available for anyone to take from the seed library. You do not "check out" seeds nor are expected to bring any seeds back to the library. The seeds are simply available for anyone to plant in their gardens.
We hope to grow the seed library in the years to come.
Donations gratefully accepted to help support future educational events and speakers.
